  • led coordination efforts between six oil-industry contractors to produce a cutting tool retrieval standard for a Fortune 500 oil company

  • wrote the first Permit to Work, Manual Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, and Red Zone policies for our new Rowan Management System after the SEMS rule
  • renewed and administered Rowan’s new-hire training program through the "ramp up" to staff our newly built deepwater fleet
  • scheduled all EHS personnel for USGOM, Trinidad, and SEA rigs
  • active member of American Petroleum Institute’s RP-75 Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation task groups
  • led high-level TOP-SET incident investigations
  • played a substantial role in the development of Rowan’s management-system "roll-out," including the training of over 900 rig-based employees

A small, brick-and-mortar startup—before we even called them that. I built the shelves, built the inventory, found the customers, turned on the lights, turned off the lights, and made barbecue every other Friday.
